Temperance was born and raised in Willowbend, located in the easternmost area of Firefly Valley, growing up in a small cabin home next door to her best friend Bridgette, where the two had met early in their childhood and became inseparable. They grew up wild and relentless, always playing rough with the next-door neighbors and coming home with bumps and bruises to prove it. Life was good; simple and full of vibrancy. It was as if the world had revolved around their small little patch of heaven and protected it from any harm. The girls graduated, and soon after, Temperance married her high-school sweetheart, becoming pregnant with their first child. The day she found out she was pregnant was the best day of her life, and she was excited for the new future and life she and her husband would create together, with her Bridgette beside her.

About six months into her pregnancy, their world had turned upside-down. A small pandemic hit the town and spread like wildfire, the nearest hospital being miles away from their location. What once was a town seemingly untouched by the shadows became swallowed in darkness- families became ill, and friends were moving away as fast as they could when they had the resources to, but sadly for Temperance and Bridgette, they and their families had been caught in the crossfire. Temperance and her husband fell ill before anyone else in their families, Bridgette's younger sisters and mother following suit soon after. Bridgette had been the last to fall ill and became completely incapacitated. There was no way the families could evacuate when the time came, everyone was too weak and frail to make a break for it.

Temperance had recovered slowly but surely, much to the surprise of many, even herself- and did whatever she could to assist and care for the others as best as possible. Unfortunately, her husband did not make it, and Bridgette's siblings followed suit shortly after. Temperance stayed by her friend's side the whole way, even after Bridgette's mother passed on as well, the two helping each other through their shared grief and trying to make the best of their situation. As soon as Bridgette was able to recover and stand once more, the two made their getaway from Willowbend to find a new location to stay. They stayed at a women's shelter in Ferncombe for weeks, hoping the little life Temperance held within her was holding up well. After not feeling any movement from her baby in days, the two were immediately rushed to Zenovia, where Temperance was told her child did not make it. The two grieved for months, never leaving each other's side or the shelter for that matter- but by the time Willowbend was cleared for inhabitation once more, the two women knew exactly what to do. Currently, with the help of the local church, they decided to move back to Willowbend, making it their mission to bring the village back to its former glory. Temperance's drive to remain positive and hopeful for a better future keeps every single volunteer in high spirits, and despite having her days where she feels like she cannot move on from her grief, she has her dear friend by her side to remind her that better days are on the horizon, for both of them.
