Niari is J'ahna's partner, but more importantly, she is her protector. Once a mercenary, J'ahna hired her some years ago to follow her tail and keep her safe in her travels. Over time, despite J'ahna's dastardly deeds, Niari grew rather fond of the sly merchant - and the feeling was mutual. Niari is far more reserved and stoic. She plays the role of intimidating body guard well, with sharp eyes and rarely a smile on her maw, except when alone with J'ahna. She is a skilled fighter, fast and efficient in battle, able to make up for what she lacks in size with speed and agility. She isn't much of a talker, generally leaving that to J'ahna, and she does well enough at keeping her thoughts concealed, though she does fluster rather easily if teased by her lover.
