"N-no... the cat does not have my tongue-- Why does everyone ask me that?"

Nine Lives is a clumsy, distractable, and somewhat oblivious pony... but he has a heart of gold. Ever since he was a little foal he wanted to help others, and he found his true calling while flying up into a tree to rescue a stranded cat from a tall branch. He devoted his life to helping his furry-four-legged friends, running a rescue out of his own home.

Nine often tries to find the cats good homes, but ones with higher needs and stricter diets often end up living with him permanently. He has a strict routine he has to follow to make sure everyone gets their meds and shots at the right times, special diets and don't forget grooming!

Unfortunately for him he's not the luckiest pony. Perhaps one too many black cats crossed his path.
