Kestrelchirp is a rather nervous yet intelligent individual who wants to do his best for his clanmates. He's kind and patient, and a bit soft spoken though can be loud at times, especially when he's surprised, startled or amused.
Once made deputy, ne didn't feel like ne was ready to have a leadership position in BirchClan. However, ne wanted to do nyr best, and strived to improve nymself in order to be the best for BirchClan as ne could be.
After Maplestar's death and Kestrelstar's new leadership position, Kestrelstar was originally very nervous and panicked about his new role, though Chilledstep helped to calm him. He still feels inadequate at times, though he does his best for his clan.
Kestrelchirp and Chilledstep were best friends since before they joined BirchClan together. They both grew up together as loners in the twolegplace.
Now a part of BirchClan, they frequently chat and hang out together, share tongues and prey. They enjoy each others company and value each other's advice and opinions.
