He suddenly appears first in Valerian's and later also in Giselle's life and plays with them...

He doesn't reveal much about himself but therefore digs even deeper into other people's secrets and weaknesses. Mikael carefully watches and analyzes others before approaching them. If they look conflicted or desperate, he'll try to offer support to get closer. If they are easy to provoke, he'll try to do so to get a reaction he can work with. If he doesn't succeed at getting through them at first try, it only motivates him to keep continueing until it works. Either way, he tries to make them fall for him, so that he has full freedom when he's 'playing' with them.

There seems to be... a certain motivation for approaching Valerian though... and something even more personal for Giselle... Something, that is routed deep behind that ever smiling facade...
