BACKSTORY:
Frida had a relaxed childhood and lived with her (slightly overprotective) parents and two siblings until she was in her 20's. At some point, she moved into a house of her own, which she now shares with her boyfriend Jett.
She was born completely blind, but having never known anything different, it doesn't affect her quality of life.

Frida is a sociable, confident individual with a sense of humour and a sharp tongue. She likes using humour to 'lighten the mood' and might crack jokes to diffuse the tension in a room, even when it's not appropriate to do so. She's optimistic and good at not letting negative emotion overwhelm her, though that doesn't mean she always succeeds.
Frida is talkative and socially dominating, never one to let someone else have have the last word. She rarely shows remorse when her bluntness offends people, believing it's their fault for being 'oversensitive', and will never apologise readily or graciously. She can come off as a little arrogant and likes to show off around new people. If she does apologise, it's always in an indirect manner - for example, by giving the person she upset a gift.
Though usually laid-back, Frida isn't afraid to get confrontational when provoked. If she or someone she likes is being threatened, she can become aggressive. She's a firm believer in 'tough love' over blatant affection, and the importance of being honest even when it hurts people's feelings. She refuses to change her personality for anyone; those who want to befriend her have to accept everything she is.
DESIGN:
Frida is of average height and build. She has flame-red hair with a fringe grown long enough to cover her eyes most of the time, and she occasionally dyes steaks of her hair random colours. Her eyes are pale blue and appear unfocused.
She has a white cane that she uses to navigate more easily, although doesn't always carry it. She also sometimes wears a silver badge depicting a potted cactus plant.

A young man she met at a party. They end up becoming friends, and eventually love interests. Their relationship is a learning experience for them both.

- Gets along well with children, though doesn't want any of her own. She currently works as a part-time preschool teacher.
