Growing up in a seaside town, Eli has always loved the ocean and became fascinated with marine life early on. In school, she always excelled in science classes (especially biology classes). She decided early on she wanted to pursue an ocean related career.
When she was 12, her father took her on a trip to Devon to do some off-shore fishing with his mates. On this trip, she was bitten by a Porbeagle shark. The attack required lots of stitches, but didn't deter her from the ocean or sharks. She still loves them, and has a Hammerhead (her favorite shark) tattooed on her leg.
She currently works on a Nat Geo docuseries team, where she met Phillip. They quickly became friends and now spend a lot of their time together. Apart from the docuseries, she works as a marine conservationist in the UK and has worked mostly with nonprofit organisations up to this point.
When she's not working, she can usually be found at home painting, drawing, or reading. On nice days (anything between 5 and 15 degrees in her opinion), she likes to go fishing or take walks along the shore. Her pantry has a ridiculous amount of potatoes in it, as well as a box full of potato-centered recipes.
