Rätsel - meaning 'enigma' - is just that. No one is certain of where she came from, or why she haunts the toxic forest that encircles Ghastfen Grove. The villagers often catch her skulking the treeline, though these sightings are brief and most witnesses are left wondering if they saw anything at all. Some say that she cannot leave the trees, as if their noxious spores are her lifeblood, and subsequently feel safe as they sleep in their beds; seems no-one has noticed that she creeps into the village at night, watching through the windows with glowing white eyes and a skeleton's grin.
