➳ EARLY LIFE
Amelie was born to Queen Ellice of Unicornia, as well as a man named Darien Trowbridge (of Unicornia). As an illegitimate heir to the throne, Amelie was kept a secret from the public. When Queen Ellice was pregnant with her everybody assumed it belonged to King Solarius, but when Amelie was born it was obvious she was not related to the king, so she had to be hidden. Queen Ellice told the kingdom that the princess had died of an unknown illness, and newborn Amelie was sent to live with her father. She always felt a strange connection to the palace, but nobody would tell her why. She had all the royal abilites and powers, being able to touch the magic flowers, becoming ill when she went into the Dark Forest and much more. Her father declined every possibility of her being a royal, hoping she'd never find out. And so Amelie grew up as a regular Unicornian girl.
➳ THE DRAMA BEGINS
When Amelie was 10 her father died of a heart attack, confused as to how this could happen she began to search for answers. Following the disappearance of Prince Orion and Princess Charlotte many press releases came out saying that the Bellrose line still had hope to continue, the hope in a secret heir to the throne. Amelie had her suspicions, but she denied the possibility that she was the heir. But Ellice had enough, she couldn't lie to her husband and the kingdom anymore. Ellice had lost her son and her daughter, what else was there to lose? Ellice came out to the public, stating that there was a remaining heir, and sent a carriage to bring Amelie to the palace to begin her training to become the future queen.
Amelie was greeted with mixed emotions, happiness and joy from Ellice but she couldn't help but notice that King Solarius gave her weird looks every time she passed by. She could tell he was trying to be friendly, but was deeply hurt that his wife cheated on him. With the royal marriage on the rocks, Amelie had to get used to her new life. It was not revealed to the public what the name of the heir was, and Amelie was to be shielded from the outside world until they were ready to announce her to the world. When she was finally announced many things followed, insane press coverage, assassination attempts, and crowds swarming around her. Amelie's best friend wouldn't even talk to her anymore, and Amelie felt so alone and so scared. She confided in her cousin, Duchess Audrey, who would obsess about books with her and show her the ropes of being a royal and how to still feel normal. Amelie is still adjusting, but it is believe that she will become a great queen.
