Kitty

Appearance:
Eye Colour: Yellow.
Skin Tone: Umber.
Height: 159cm.

Kitty is of average height. Her eyes are almond shaped, and she stands with a shy and protective demeanour. Kitty dresses plainly, but can often be seen wearing something cat related.

Kitty likes cats so much that she tucks her tentacles into the back of her headband, so the tips stick out and look like cat ears. Her hair is almost always yellow; it changes when it needs to (such as for turf wars etc). However when finished it will immediately revert back to yellow.

Personality:
Shy and reserved, Kitty is somewhat of an enigma to her peers. She talks to virtually no one, and when she is approached she speaks very little, dodging questions until she can get away. As such, no one knows anything about her; if asked, the most anyone can tell you about her is that she’s very quiet and likes cats. In fact, she gained her nickname, “Kitty”, as a result of no one knowing her real name (though she adopted this nickname happily).

Unsurprisingly, Kitty is painfully shy and hates any type of confrontation. She goes out of her way to avoid conversation and if spoken to, keeps her answers short. It’s been rumored that she is mute, however those rumors are false. The truth is that she hates talking about herself and any questions regarding so make her very uncomfortable. Kitty suffers from poor self esteem, and believes the worse about both herself and what she can do. She often talks herself out of doing things she wants to do, believing that she’s going to stuff it up or embarrass herself. Her attitude is extremely pessimistic and as such she never performs to the ability that she can.

She loves watching turf wars, and though she longs to join in with the other kids, her doubt holds her back, so she mostly watches from the sidelines. She does occasionally join in on the fun, but only plays a few matches before she stops. She always plays by herself and if someone recognises her she’ll leave immediately. She’s never played a Ranked match because she is too scared to do so.

Kitty adores cats and it’s blatantly obvious. She earned her nickname “Kitty” due to her hairstyle, which is shaped to look like cat ears, and that she often wears clothes or uses stationary with a cat motif on it. Her best friend is her pet cat fish, named Princess, and the two are very close. She is fascinated with Judd, due to how he has fur and is soft to touch (unlike catfish which are furless). She often goes to visit him after matches and brings him food (usually tempura or other deep-fried fish). Her favourite place is her local cat cafe Gone CatFishing; she would love to apply for work there but is too shy to do so.

Backstory:
Kitty comes from a wealthy family, and as she is an only child, her parents dote over her. They worry about her a lot, but Kitty is often evasive or unresponsive, so their efforts to get her involved in things are fruitless. She find their over zealous parenting to be overwhelming and embarrassing, but she doesn’t know how to tell her parents that so she just lets them do it. She hates the social events she is usually expected to attend with her parents, and typically spends her time dodging looks or waiting it out in the toilets.

Strengths:
With her sprinklers and inkstorm, Kitty excels at painting the turf. With her sprinklers, she can ink two places at once and as such, quickly builds up her special gauge, and her inkstorm helps cover turf and zone out enemies. When confronted, Kitty uses her shield to defend herself, giving her the opportunity to escape.

Weaknesses: 
Kitty is not the best at claiming splats as she is easily startled and has bad accuracy, so when confronted she will try to escape rather than engage. Her shield provides her with defence, however, the brella is a ink hungry main, and if she doesn’t have enough ink in her tank she is unable to use it. It’s ink consumption can sometimes leave her stranded, without enough ink to defend herself.

Fun Facts:

  She is overly invested in the dramas that she watches and gets emotionally involved with the characters. After watching an episode she will often write a really long blog post about her thoughts on it.
 Kitty finds water to be extremely calming, and she loves the ocean, rivers, rain and any other bodies of water. She likes to stand in the rain, letting it wash over her until she splats.
  Is most likely to talk to animals.
