Ethan Reed

Is always going to be that friend who invades personal space, is overly affectionate, playful, and almost frustratingly cocky. Very social and easy to drag along into stuff. If you want to see him really serious, you'll need to get him one-on-one. Then you'll find he can be very cynical about the world.

He is protective of his unisons and guild. Even if they're in the wrong, he will back them up and only reprimand them in private. He's a character who is very good at "showing face" when necessary.

Is a weak drinker and a touchy-feely drunk.

Ethan is a character created from my avatar in the mobile game Unison League. He's a sniper who writes on the side. His main unisons in order obtained: Red Riding Hood, Napoleon Bonaparte, Lucifer, Romeo Montague, and King Arthur

Easy to miss details when drawing: He has an ahoge (stupid piece of hair sticking up) over his left eye. His eyes are light brown. His ears are pierced.

Childhood: Him and his brother were born out of wedlock. His mom belonged to a very small forest village and his father was a leader to a mercenary guild. Everything would have been fine if they weren't identical twins. Because they were, they had similar ether signatures that combined would attract demons. Their mom left and found sanctuary in a larger, but radically religious city. Just a year later their mom ran into their father again and he actually put down the guild mantle to pick up the father one. All four lived a near fairytale-esque life together for 10 years.

He later lived mostly with his father, as the church that ran the city demanded that the twins be separated until they could control their own ether footprints. This didn't last long, as not heeding the church's order, a family outing later resulted in the two being orphaned. The church then took them in, and the twins who were inseparable before began to drift apart. Ethan became more rebellious through his teenage years, while Emmet continued to be a scholar. Despite the different personalities, both brothers were on par with each other in both studies and physical prowess.

Childhood officially ended for him when Emmet was going to be permitted into the higher circle of knowing within the church. Ethan never thought of a future for himself, but he knew Emmet had dreams and aspirations that would be cut off if he was to be admitted to the circle. He convinced Emmet to leave the city, while he took his place. The switch wasn't discovered until after the ceremony, when Ethan was healing from having symbols burned into his back. To make up for this crime, he's been employed to do the church's bidding, mainly to search for his brother. Ethan was able to remove himself from that lifestyle by faking his own death and going to live with a monster tribe. It would be about 3 years until he'd see Emmet again.

Recent Past: Ethan was working in Haumaforte's red light district.... as a host. Until Rin, building up the guild Rain again, hounded him to join after discovering he was a decent archer. Ethan had had no interest in guilds at the time, but he was still a man with no future ambitions and went with Rin on a whim. Over the year, it was obvious that Ethan went through some changes. His personality became more approachable, he turned out to be reliable, a fast learner, a bit of a flirt and loyal to a fault. He still has no future aspirations, but now makes the guild's goals his own.
