Having his wings on display together with his matching hair colour, Nathaniel is sure to turn heads, no matter where he's going. He loves getting attention and likes to be in the center of attraction. With a composed manner and strict demeanor, Nathaniel dresses to impress, always. He loves music and plays a lot of different instruments, such as the piano, the harp and the pan flute. Just to name his favourites. Being overly dramatic and in love with singing, Nathaniel enjoys musicals and theater pieces a lot, such as composing them all by himself. He has a bit of an attitude, believing that noone can actually be as good as him in whatever that may be, so only a few actually take their time to get to know him. To his friends, he's nitpicking a lot, not cause he intends to be mean, but he just wants the best for them and that they're also trying to be the best they can for their own sake. Many would call him a bit of a narcissist, since this Annie is totally fond of himself and is very proud. Some might also call him arrogant, but Nathaniel believes it's only the envy speaking within them and they might confuse it with sheer endless confidence.

Personality
Nathaniel is the type of guy who works hard to achieve his dreams, totally believing in the „No pain, No gain“ principle. He doesn't have any sympathies for people who just wait for things to happen or complain, which makes him look like a distant, cold person sometimes, cause he can't really deal well with other people's problems and insecurities. At a first glance, he might look like a very strict person that is just busy with working nonstop without having any fun, but when you look closer, you can see that behind that confidence and pride, he is just enjoying and loving life. He can be very funny and is a caring person in general, even if he might shows it in a weird way. By nitpicking or giving advice to his friends, he doesn't want to be mean or arrogant, he just really wants the best for them and tries to help them become an even better person. Some people have a hard time with this kind of caring and don't really seem to understand, but Nathaniel never has any bad intentions. He has a very thick skin and what other may think of him doesn't interest him in the slightest. Yes, his attitude or his slight narcissism, his pride and his confidence, all of those are things that are just strong, maybe even annoying characteristics and don't work out with everyone, but its just the things that makes him who he is and if someone doesn't like this, Nathaniel doesn't care at all and won't miss them. He needs someone who believes in him, supports him and doesn't take his flaws too serious.

Singing
Nathaniel always loved to sing, even when he was a child. When he grew older, he knew pretty fast that singing and music are the things he wants to do in life, so he made it his profession. To chase his dreams of becoming a singer and learning how to play instruments, he left the isolated mountainous town he was born in and moved to Laoluzia, to study the arts of performing.
Music Instruments
With his love for singing, he soon discovered the wonderful world of the music instruments as well and how much fun it is to play them and sing at the same time. Since he grew up in a very isolated town somewhere in the mountains, he never touched an instrument in his childhood. He loves to play all kinds of music instruments and tries out new ones all the time. Among his top favorites are the piano, the harp and the panflute. He also loves playing the guitar and the violin as well. To be honest, he's fascinated of them all and has a hard time to decide.
Cooking and baking
One of his favorite things besides music is definitely food. Nathaniel loves extravagant dishes, fancy looking food that was cooked with diligence and was aimed for nothing but perfection when created. He decided that he would love to try it out as well, since it's such another kind of art and he was sure that he was definitely able to create delicious foods. Turns out that it's not that easy to cook and bake extravagant and fancy dishes and it takes a lot of practice as well. Since he's quite impatient, he sometimes gets frustrated quite easily. He still aims for perfection in cooking and baking as well, so he practices from time to time, more like a hobby when he needs a break from music.
Teaching
Nathaniel loves to share his knowledge with other people and gets happy when teaching others who are just as enthusiastic and inquisitive about music. Of course, he also likes to show off and enjoys the admiration a lot. But it truly warms his heart when he sees upcoming performers working hard for their dreams and he feels honored when being the one to teach them.
Background
Nathaniels blessing,The Parnassius Apollo, is also known as the Apollo Butterfly. It is a beautiful white butterfly, decorated with large black spots on the fore-wings and red eye-spots on the hind-wings. These striking red eye-spots can vary in size and form depending on the location of the Apollo butterfly, and the bright red colour often fades in the sun, causing the eye-spots of older individuals to appear more orange. The wings are shiny, with slightly transparent edges and some individuals are darker (melanistic); a general phenomenon common in many butterflies. This butterfly is mostly commonly found in most of the large mountainous areas in Europe in steep, sunny slopes with sparse vegetation.
Story
Nathaniel was born in a small town in the mountains, very isolated and calm. Nothing ever happened there and every day seemed to be same, which was just too boring for him. As soon as he was old enough and decided to follow his dreams and focus on singing, he moved to Laoluzia, which has always been known for their schools of performing arts. Nathaniel never regretted his decision.
He has the time of his life singing, performing in musicals, playing a lot of instruments and studying all of the wonderful things related to music. After he worked very hard to make himself a name, he started to not only perform regularly, but to also work as teacher in one of the known schools of performing arts. He teaches a lot of classes for learning specific music instruments, is a vocal coach and gives tipps for writing songs.He discovered musicals and loves to take part in them, but also enjoys to write the scripts himself. Also, he's a very good dancer, doesn't give any classes tho, cause he's too impatient with teaching people a choreography and gets annoyed really fast when they're not learning it quickly. It's easy, after all, so why don't they get it?
One day, Nathaniel met a very special girl and now Giselle is the lovely girl at Nathaniels side. One day, when Nathaniel was playing the piano while singing to the music, Giselle, who was on a trip in Laoluzia, heard his music drifting out of his room. Enchanted by the melodies, she started to express her love for his music in such heartwarming fanletters. Nathaniel, who usually isn't someone who responds to fanletters in such detail, to bring some distance to him and his fangirls, was really touched. The letters were not only beautiful in the things she wrote, but also in aesthetic aspects, she always chose such nice paper and her clean handwriting gave Nathaniel the feeling, that she spent hours on just one letter for him and would even toss away the whole thing if she'd make a mistake on paper. Which was something that Nathaniel really appreciated and just enjoyed. He kept all her letters in a special drawer and unlike him, he replied to her in the same way and took his time as well, putting lots of love and apprecation in his words. With every letter they sent each other, Nathaniel liked the mysterious girl from Skyatt more and more. Not knowing this side from him at all, since he seems kinda untouchable and cold to everyone, he started to care deeply for her and didn't even realize at first, that he's treating her in a totally different way than other people. Since they've become penpals, Nathaniel sees himself becoming soft towards her, gives her compliments and has the urge to buy fancy things for her to make her happy. For once it seems, that he has stopped to only think about himself.
First, Nathaniel got a bit scared by this fact and didn't know how to deal with it. But with the time, he completely lost the fears of getting even closer to her, and invited the shy girl to meet him at one of his concerts. Giselle decided to go on another trip to Laoluzia and visited Nathaniel at his concert. It was the first time that he was actually nervous while performing. Even after the concert, when they finally got to talk to each other in person, Nathaniel was excited and layed down his outward personality pretty quick as well. In her near, he wasn't the cold, untouchable Nathaniel anymore and turned into a gentleman, that just wants to make sure she's feeling happy. And also, that she never leaves his side anymore. He was surprised how much it hurt him to let her go back to her hometown, which was probably the moment when he realized that he truly fell for her. They continued to send each other letters and Nathaniel missed her so much. Noticing that she felt the same, he carefully started to bring up the topic of her moving to Laoluzia. It was hard for Giselle to leave her hometown, but in the end, Nathaniel managed to convince her and she wanted to be with him so much as well, that she decided to move to Laoluzia. They bought a beautiful little house next to the river, which was a wish from Giselle, so she was able to bring her collection of shinies.
Ever since then, they live a peaceful life together and Giselle keeps bringing out the best of Nathaniel. He decided to keep his performances to a minimum, so he wouldn't be busy and away all the time, and took several jobs as a teacher in the best performing schools of the city. Giselle is supporting him in every way she can! Nathaniel enjoys to play for her and sing her asleep, he even writes songs about her, but is too embarassed to show them.

Nathaniels precious girlfriend, Giselle. They met a few years after Nathaniel moved to Laoluzia and she happened to hear his music. Their relationship started with them being penpals, after Giselle wrote several fanletters to Nathaniel. After he invited her to one of his concerts and they met each other in personal, they fell in love with each other and shortly after, Giselle left her hometown Skyatt and moved to Laoluzia to live with him in a small beautiful house near the river.

Sayori and Nathaniel are good friends who work together often. Sayori first heard of Nathaniel after acting in a small musical he wrote. Falling in love with the style of music, she sought out the composer and found a rather prickly, somewhat narcissistic guy who didn’t like sharing his music because he believed that no one would be able to truly appreciate it. However, Sayori was persistent about talking to him about his compositions and Nathaniel was flattered that a famous actress was interested in his work. She eventually coaxed him into sharing his work with wider audiences, starring in many of his new plays herself and eventually Nathaniel gained wider recognition. People often like to gossip about whether the two of them are dating, but the two of them simply have a healthy platonic friendship built on mutual respect and support. After all, he already had found the love of his life in Giselle and he hates to see her sad about this rumor.
