A brash tactician magician unaware of what fate has in store for her
An extroverted tactician working for the Shepherds, a volunteer militia operated by the prince of Ylisse Chrom. A competent user of magical tomes and swords, Reflect makes a name for herself as a force on the battlefield and a trusted comrade of Chrom's cause. Unbenownst to her, she holds the blood necessary to revive the Fell Dragon Grima. She'll find out soon enough on her adventures...
Originally created for my Smash headcanons/fanfic before... spiraling. It's common for fic writers to depict the two Robins as alternate timeline selves to justify them coexisting, but I didn't like this and decided to try rewriting Awakening's story to accomodate the two existing as siblings (and other stuff). As a result, I've both developed a new backstory for the Robins as well as drawn Reflect to be as distinct from Robin's default design as possible, which is how we ended up here.

Odds & Ends
Reflect carries herself confidently with an upbeat and enthusiastic personality that naturally draws people towards her. She is cocky in battle and can get quickly get herself into danger from a lack of foresight, but she means well when she seeks to help others with her talents. She's hyper-competitive and frequent elbow-rubber with fellow Shepherds tactician Robin and other brash members like Vaike and Sully. Sometimes she can miss when people are bothered by her big personality.
Reflect was born the second child of Grimleal member Validar. Her birth was significant in that she posessed the blood needed to revive their god Grima. Fearing for her safety, her mother fled with Reflect into the night, unable to bring her first son Robin with her.
Now living in an isolated village in Ylisse, Reflect gains proficiency in magic and tactics through her mother's mentorship, fully unaware of the existence of her brother or if her father was even alive.
When Reflect turns 19, she decides to venture to the outside world to use her knowledge in pursuit of fame and fortune. Her mother gives her her blessing with the only condition that Reflect never reveal the brand on the back of her right hand to anyone.
Reflect's travels take her to Southtown, another small village in Ylisse, under attack by bandits. Here, she assists another band of travelers in helping the villagers. These travelers included Ylissean royalty Chrom and Lissa and their loyal knight Frederick. After some pleasantries, Chrom offers Reflect a position as their tactician for his group The Shepherds, since their current tactician was on sabatical. With nothing better to do, Reflect happily takes the offer.
Reflect's older brother whom she reunited with during her time in the Shepherds. The two now work together as the army's tacticians. Though they are practically opposites in terms of personality, the two synergize surprisingly well.
Robin has seen practically no design changes so obviously I'm not posting him on Toyhouse. However I have linked a Tumblr post I made running down his new personality and altered backstory.
The leader of the Shepherds and prince of Ylisse. Reflect took a liking to his prowess with the sword and how un-pretentious he was as a noble. After the war against Plegia, the two get married and have a daughter named Lucina. Both consider each other close confidants, making Reflect's downfall in the dark timeline all the more tragic.
For obvious reasons Chrom doesn;t have a character page on Toyhouse, so I linked his article on the FE Wiki instead.
In the good future where Grima is defeated without the sacrifice of Reflect's life, she and Chrom later have a son named Marc (this AU's version of m!Morgan). For some reason, he's found himself in the past alongside the other second-generation cast despite having no intention or motivation to stop Grima (or any knowledge of who Grima is, really). Regardless, he is taken in by the team for the time being, and he melds pretty seamlessly with the rest of the crew. He is particularly close with his mother and inherits a lot of his upbeat personality from her, even if he has no interest in picking up any book to do with magic or strategy.
