| ● When he was alive, Whipp was killed by Grimsley, another Pikachu, but he does not remember any of the details (like why they were fighting in the first place). All he knows is that he's driven by revenge and little can stop him from trying to kill Grimsley back. |
| ● There was a small period where Whipp was a Gastly, right after he died. During this time he had no memory of he was, just like all other Ghost Pokemon. Quickly, though, a Cresselia tracked him down and returned him to his old form, or at least as similar as possible while still being a ghost. She also returned his memories to him, and is the one who told him to get revenge on the person who killed him. He didn't question it but HMM he should, Huh?? |

| Grimsley | Whip's killer; it's his goal to get revenge against Grimsley at any cost. He can't remember anything about his life when he was alive, and he believes his memories will come back to him when Grim is defeated and suffers like he did. Whippoorwill will stop at nothing to get his justice. |
| Peaches | An aquaintance that's practically a friend, but both Whip and Peaches are pretty distant personalities so they aren't truly very close. Often Whip stops by Peaches' place of residence when he's in need of shelter or when he needs rest, food, etc. Peaches has always been more than happy to be helpful, but he's definitely a bit uneasy about the ghost and the trouble (Grim) that sometimes comes with him. |
