Background: A worm? In a shrimp costume? You'd think that's weird, but The Owner has seen weirder. The person who brought in the worm said they had found it after a rain storm simply sitting in a puddle and was worried it was going to drown. Instead, as they watched, they saw the worm start swimming around! They seemed like they didn't want to get out. They decided to take it in and place it in a small fish bowl they had and let them swim around in clean water instead of being food outside. Soon they started to really care about the worm, even going so far as to make a small costume for them for when they wanted to be on dry land, or rather, dry dirt. The owner's landlord started to consider them a pet, however, and decided the worm was no longer welcome in the apartment complex where they lived. They brought them to The Owner since they didn't just want them to be food for birds outside. Surprise to them, The Owner already had a worm! The two quickly became friends, despite Saeu wanting to stay in the fish tank all day. Asteroid will sit outside of the tank and watch them swim sometimes, his glasses slipping a little as he was more preoccupied watching them. Saeu won't tell him right away, but they really really like him and love to do little tricks for him when they swim.
