punk is a silver belgian malinois with the body of a maned wolf. he stands 40 inches tall at the shoulder and has a 45-inch head-body length. he has a docked tailed (4 inches) but he can drawn with an undocked tail (20 inches). he has large, rounded, and long 8-inch ears that flop forward slightly because of their weight; he is highly expressive with his ears. his legs are long like a maned wolf, but his body is more muscular and toned rather than thin like a maned wolf would be. his fur is mostly short on his body but he has a fluffy neck ruff and some fluff on his rump. he can be drawn with or without hair, but hair is used less in feral form and more in anthro.

he is 176cm tall and weighs 160 pounds. his body is toned and muscular with a small waist and broad shoulders. punk has a plush rump that's firm but soft in the best areas. his paws are semi-feral and his legs are digitigrade. he has hair in this form and the sides are typically shaved in a military style. he occasionally grows his hair out to partially cover his eyes. punk's chest has some fluff on it in his anthro form along with his neck ruff. he has animal-like nipples in this form.

personality
punk is an awkward dog with no real natural social skills. he's good at acting, putting up a front, and doing as people tell him to do, but without guidance he wouldn't know where to start. he has one best friend that he can come out of his shell with, but there's really no one else who has seen his true colors. punk is actually quite shy and has a lot of anxiety that he would never let anyone see. he tends to bury his emotions so that he can later take it out in the gym. punk has a lot of self-destructive tendencies and has a complete disregard for his own safety and well-being.
since he is ex-military, punk has struggled a lot with handling his ptsd and depression. he has panic attacks frequently and cannot handle fireworks or the sound of gunfire. punk does not like being cornered and will only sit where his back is not to anyone else and where he can clearly see all exits. his only coping skills are unhealthy and damaging to himself. he will often refuse food and sleep, staying up all night staring at a wall. there are times when punk dissociates for hours. he cannot look at himself in a mirror and has broken all mirrors in his apartment by punching them. despite all this, when it truly counts, punk has the ability to shut himself off from the world to stay calm under pressure by hyperfocusing on his goal/mission. he doesn't suffer from memory loss, but he has repressed certain memories in order to protect his psyche. his memories come vividly and look like they are being played out in front of him like a projection on a screen. he can remember every detail if he really tries.
when he's around his best friend, punk acts like a little shit and he truly is his namesake. he's a punkass bitch. punk is sarcastic, snarky, and enjoys teasing. he is quick with his words and wit and can come up with a comeback in any situation. when he smiles, punk grins with his whole face and when he laughs, his whole body shakes. punk chooses to chill out and relax himself by smoking a lot of weed. he's a stoner and he gets high at least every other day. 
this rotten dog is also an artist and a singer, but he doesn't show off to anyone. he will quietly draw in his sketchbook and will only show someone if they ask and even then, he prefers to keep his art to himself. he can play the guitar and the piano as well, but prefers to sing along with his guitar. his favorite type of music is indie rock.
