bio

he's proud of his work and comes across as almost narcissistic, but he works hard and his pride isn't misplaced. he doesn't care much about what others think as long as he's satisfied with himself, so he often lets others take credit for his work (much to their surprise pfft), meaning a lot of his fellow paleontologists don't think he lives up to his own words at all. most ponies don't really get close to him because they think he's a fraud or something, so he tends to let off steam at a raptor skeleton, the first almost complete skeleton he excavated. the raptor's name is pal.
when he does get close to someone (which isn't that hard if you look past his boasts!), he becomes pretty affectionate and will give out hugs and shoulder rests generously. he might accidentally refer to a friend as 'pal' while getting something off his chest, and doesn't notice unless it's pointed out to him.
