Janus is a downright bastard. He's always had this leaning even before finding the Bittersweet cult and without their Guardian's influence. After professing considerable interest to Francesca's injuries and being overly eager to sate her wishes to receive more of them, the Guardian didn't hesitate to figuratively abduct him into the rowdy and bloodthirsty following that is their cult. After only a few sadistically fueled performances and Janus showing a considerable interest to the extent of matters the less human of the cultists both endure and enjoy, he was elevated to Elite status with little hesitation from the Bittersweet guardian and barely any surprise from the cult.
His powers are not the kind to make him more personally potent, dangerous or imposing; his special trait and ability is to have on hand a seemingly endless supply of sweets, treats and sugary liquids for anyone who may want them. Imbued with the traits he himself has been spared of, these volatile and treacherous candies have very varying adverse, possibly undesired or merely unique effects to the people who ingest them or otherwise take them in. Janus quickly learned that administration can happen in most applicable ways, and has an assortment of syringes to induce sweet fluids into people. Effects vary wildly but Janus is largely in control of which ones he imbues his mysteriously appearing treats with.
His prowess and capabilities to inflict supernatural and sweet experiences onto the still human cultists has brought him to considerable popularity, and merely due to his connection to the Guardian is he at times able to shake off followers who plead him to offer them his gifts. It is for the enjoyment of Them, the Bittersweet, after all, not just for the cultists.
