Alonzo's weird fascination of anatomy and inter-working of mentier body led him to become a butcher and a on hand medicfor his father's organization called "Dead Sea", something he absolutely loves. He thinks highly of his work, as he sees it as a great step forward to his dream profession. However not everyone appreciates his self-taught skills in this field, often referring to him as a gore-loving maniac rather than a doctor. He gets very defensive whenever someone downplays his work or medical expertise, when he helped so many already.
His job is always plain and simple: amputate. Though his work may sound simple, he never hides his pure and almost child-like excitement whenever he does this again and again. Even with the simplest and shortest surgeries Alonzo takes it slow, giving himself as much time to squeeze as much joy as it's reasonably possible. His methods aren't the most ethical nor professional, that's why only the desperate tend to him.
Outside his office where he's always patient and focused on his craft, he's a complete opposite. Impatient, messy and immediately losing interest in anything that doesn't include the topics or things he likes. To many it's still a total mystery why he's still trusted with keeping an eye for Kawa, someone who's almost as chaotic and unpredictable as him, more so how they haven't managed to kill themselves by accident by now.

He's also called Al or Alan for short, since his name is on the longer side.
Calling him a butcher or medic may seem wrong for some, as he describes his occupation more like a typical surgeon gig, focusing way more on amputations themselves, which is not a full extent of his work. The body parts he amputates are prepared and sold as a cheaper alternative to actual animal meat for mentiers in the poorer parts of the city or as luxurious (and extremally rare) mentier meat for human consumption outside Mentier City's territory by the "Dead Sea".
- The "Dead Sea" organization is more like a mix of mafia and gang, it's highly structured, with a strict code and family hierarchy (like a mafia) but works on way smaller scale due to low mentier population and exporting their stuff only in range of neighboring cities.
Although Al has constant contact with blood and gore, he has never seen someone's life leaving their eyes on his operating table. His patients either only amputate a part of their body in exchange for money or come already dead (often brought in by family needing money, unable to afford a burial).
Acts like he's the coolest guy in the room, in reality makes people uncomfortable by his lacking knowledge of social cues. He tends to coming up close and has no sense of personal space, making people weird out by it. They usually prefer to keep a safe distance.
He would love to be a surgeon, if he ever had to change his current job. He believes we would get the position with an ease because of his great self-thought skills.
it's truly unknown if Alonzo is a victim of a large orphan wave happening due to the rise of aggression from humans towards mentiers or not, since marine mentiers are known to often lack a lot in parenting department.
He has a bad habit of cutting/chewing his tail when under huge stress or when nervous. He tries to hide the fact she was a problem like this, simply because he thinks it would make him look less professional. Strangely the scars themselves doesn't bother him at all, he doesn't cover them in any way.
