Carys is a multidimensional owl-moth. She was born into an owl-moth commune and raised with the values of peace, tolerance and understanding. She can easily travel through dimensions and appears to creatures in their dreams and memories. She appears to Moxie in this way, taking the form of a shrine guardian. She believes strongly in second chances, and she wanted to help out the poor “cat-sprite” who was lead astray, but it all goes a bit wrong. Carys doesn’t technically die, but she loses her memories and personality. She uses the last bit of her magic to teleport back to the owl-moth commune, where they rally around her. She can’t explain what happened, for she no longer remembers, but the owl-moths are determined to get Carys’ memories back…before it’s too late.
