Honeypool is a very calm cat, and she's a good mediator. She's the medicine cat of PondClan, born to her mother Pearblossom and an unknown tom. Pearblossom raised her to always be kind and understanding, and to have an open mind. As an apprentice, Honeypaw's mentor Moosefang knew right away that being a warrior wasn't meant for her, she never wanted to actually kill any of the prey, and she always drifted off. After a few days of basic apprentice training, Moosefang brought her to the medicine cat and explained, and luckily there was an apprentice opening. Honeypool's time as a medicine cat apprentice didn't last long, because just a few moons in, the medicine cat Leaftail was killed during an attack by StormClan. This immediately put pressure on Honeypool because she felt she wasn't ready to become the sole medicine cat, but StarClan assured her it was meant to be like this.
