Stardust

  • Rare goldbar chinchilla with a retro futurism aesthetic (I tried to put them in a fishbowl helmet but their ears were too big)
  • Fun loving child of the cosmos who floats aimlessly throughout the void and loves to roll around in stardust
  • Their star-struct eyes and the four-pointed stars in their visor displays twinkle in a two frame loop
  • Once had a role abroad a space exploration vessel but has long since forgotten their purpose

Open to offers including DA points, paypal, art trades, character trades, etc. DM and comment if interest.

Artist notes: Protogens can have nearly any animalistic traits but I feel like I rarely see them with anything besides the usual set of features so I wanted to try and branch out into new inspirations. This batch is batch is inspired by chinchillas, a species of animal that I think would be very fun to make spacefaring. I am not much of a lineart artist however. I'm aware that there's a fatter, fluffier protogen base available that might have fit the real life body type of a chinchilla a little better, but I liked the options provide in this pack more, allowing me to have more accurate ears, hands, and the best recreation of the curled tail I could manage lol. A commissioned artist can probably take the designs and draw the bodies more realistically if that's your cup of tea. More importantly though, these designs are all based on real chinchilla patterns and colors, with a fantastical twist of course. In particular I enjoyed coming up with different ways of representing their funny, pig-like noses. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and I hope others enjoy them too.

Terms: You're welcome to use this design for any person or commercial use, so long as I retain credit as the original designer. After it comes into your possession, you're free to trade, transfer, or sell the character again. Moreover, you're welcome to change any aspect of the design you see fit. Sometimes I get characters I really love and there's just like ooooone or two things I wish I could change to make it perfect. I'm not a stickler. In fact, if its something easy enough like changing the name or switching a color, I can probably edit the reference page for you if you like, but no revisions. Adopts are suppose to be more or less a one and done kind of thing and I already let myself spend waaaay too much time of these than I should have lol
