Elthia Taveras

Borne to a human healer in the town of ????, Elthia was unwelcome to the world. Dooming her mother to maternal mortality, the Tiefling was loathed by the community. On behalf of Elthia's mother being the only healer in town, it suffered great losses. As Elthia grew, death was all around her, detested by those around her, she hid herself away. Taking up her mothers studies, she tried to become exactly what they had lost, but struggled greatly gaining the trust of the town people due to her race. She wasn't a human like her mother had been, therefore untrustworthy, cursed. So she took her studies to the forest, practicing her healing on small animals and the like, as they didn't fear her beastly appearance. She was reluctant around humans, fearful of judgement, she grew sheepish; tried to avoid them.

One faithful night while coming home from the forest, she heard groaning from an alley way. Ceasing this opportunity she jumped to the occasion and ran to assist the injured. A man slouched against the wall gripping his side. No words were exchanged between them as Elthia took to the opportunity, placing her hand on the mans side, curing him of his lesion. They parted ways, nothing to say. Elthia found a comfort in the situation, having felt like she had accomplished something. Weeks after the incident the man returned, she learned of him. A Bounty Hunter named Draven, he was paid to kill and hunt. He thanked her for saving his life and he offered her work, to travel with him. And so she did.
