Mimic resides in the backrooms and uses her tail to get the attention of lost children who were separated from their parents. The tail is hung up like normal flags on a door frame but they glow and lure the child in closer. When the kid gets close enough, the flags move and mimic emerges from behind a corner, she's huge and can shrink but her minimum height is 10 feet. She plays with the kid and entertains them and let's them paint on her face. The children are never seen again.
