In college studying to be a microbiologist/Biologist , while doing experiments she definitely shouldn't have one of the spiders she had been testing on broke out and bit her. Since then she's had the normal spider powers, as well as being able to spit acid.

Not really into the whole Hero thing, but dabbles in it sometimes. He usually tries to stay out of the limelight because they don't think they're really cut out for it after their partner died. Drools all the fucking time, the acid does not help
