A time traveler from the future with a vendetta against ghosts. Her goal is to eliminate as many hostile spirits as possible to prevent an overflow of ghosts in zher time.
StoryWhen Exer was in her 20's, a local inventor's machine malfunctioned, accidentally aggravating restless spirits within a 20-mile radius. This caused the spirits to become aggressive, attacking living people, which led to Exer's girlfriend dying in the attack. Exer developed a vengeance against lingering spirits, picking up ghost hunting to rid the living world of ghosts. However, the buildup of spirits from decades and centuries prior made the task impossible in zher timeline.
Thus, zhe traveled to past decades, ridding as many ghosts as she could. She met a young Florence in the 1860's and taught the girl how to dispel the ghosts bothering her own home. However, Exer would've never predicted that Florence's outlook on restless spirits would change in the next two decades due her meeting another kid...

Florence was the first person Exer met in the past who also expressed an interest in ghost-hunting science. Over the course of a month, Florence grew to respect Exer for her abilities, and Exer saw great potential in Florence's future as a ghost hunter. However, Florence's change in attitude later on is like a slap to the face for Exer. Is there something zhe's missing?
Ah, here's the reason Florence changed. Exer initially regards Spence with hostility after hearing about his pacifism, calling him a coward and pushing him to deal with ghosts the "proper" way. It's only when Spence fervently defends a restless spirit he has absolutely no connection to that Exer decides to temporarily set aside her vindication and hear out his methods. When he successfully pacifies the ghost, Exer is amazed and begins rethinking zher approach to exorcism.
