Watanabe Uki

Watanabe Uki is a second-year student at U.A high school, Class 1C. she was born a normal albeit odd-looking child, but progressively became 2-Dimensional and squiggly over her 16 years of life

Her name originates from the word Ukiyo-e Referring to the japanese Art movement of Woodblock prints and paintings from the Edo period

Uki inherited her quirk from her mother, a beautiful, once-famous hero known for the ability to make anything she painted real, machinery, objects, weapons or even living beings such as animals which would obey her (not people, however.) Uki inherited the quirk, but not necessarily the artistic talent needed to make the quirk effective. And so, she can only create basic, 3-dimensional shapes and anything beyond this comes out incredibly poorly-drawn, 2-Dimensional and stiff, like her.

In order to effectively use this quirk, you not only have to paint the image you desire itself, but all of it's internal machinations and functions (for example, to 'Summon' a working gun you must also draw it's internal mechanisms, to create an animal you must also include it's muscle and bone in the sketch... and so forth. a component of the quirk Uki has yet to master

Personality/etc

Uki is sometimes bullied for her appearance and admittedly shitty choice of a hero name, but doesn't really seem to take mind to it.

Uki is quite cheery and eager to become a better hero despite the shortcomings of her quirk, and practices creating things every extra hour she has outside of and during school. she runs a club for people with other odd or otherwise 'Unhelpful' Quirks to help them figure out how to make their quirks more effective. Her out-of-school hobbies are pet beetles and swimming. 

Her friend group consists of Fukadashi Manga and Kumata Hanto.
