Velvet often seems shy or standoffish, but that's mostly in situations in which she is uncomfortable. Around her friends, she's super loud and chatty! Velvet enjoys all things pastel and soft and can be somewhat of a pushover. She's definitely the type to name her stuffed animals, and in fact sometimes keeps a small plush strapped around one of her wings. Velvet absolutely despises competitive environments, and can't stand people who brag or are determined to keep a moral high horse. To her, it's less about how others perceive her and more about how she and those close to her think of her. And debates really aren't her thing, although she's definatly guilty of getting into unneccesary arguments.

(WIP) She is a huge romantic and often comes off as intense and clingy due to her passionate nature. It's hard to make her feel like she can truly trust anyone, prompting her to push others away. However, once Velvet feels like you are truly trustworthy, she'll go to the depths of hell and back to help you. But Velvet, due to her fear of abandonment, has a really bad habit of "testing" her friend's loyalty. This tends to turn people off even more and often cut her out, and has given her a reputation of being clingy
