Albert was formerly a renowned fisherman but got disqualified from every fishing tourney due to the hosts finding out he cheated nearly every year by throwing his pet fish into the lake and using a special signal only they knew to have them swim up to him.

He's the runner of all of the games in The Lost Carnival- most, if not all of which are probably rigged. He's played dirty and cheated all his life, after all.
