In the sea kingdom of [ REDACTED ] Prince Asagi was in an arranged marriage. He fought with his father, believing in true love, but tradition stood in the way. He fled the kingdom, knowing he would never be able to fulfill the duties as a prince.
The night after he made it to the nearest shore, far from his home, he came across a ship. Desperate for work, and a way to get even farther from his old home, climbed aboard to declare his needs. He was hassled by the captain for some time, but they allowed him to join their crew. It took him a while to realize that this was a pirate ship, the 'evil mauraders' he had been warned about as a child. This crew had been tough, but they were more family to him than any relative he had before. He stayed with this crew for several years, but as the tides change his desires in life moved away from adventure. The Cursed Maiden was sad to see him leave, but they offered him their assistance if he ever needed it.
Now, in the heart of Scalesmoore, Asagi resides peacefully in the low hanging swamp trees. After the chaos of his life leading up to now, he doesn't seek adventure as much. He knows that the right path in life will come to him.
