Pink Opal

Pink is practically brand new. She's only just been released from the Cradle and is still getting used to life at the lab. She's stable, but her powers are weak and impurities in her gem have resulted in her being completely mute. Nacre would've shattered her if not for Color Changing Sapphire, who took a liking to her and thought it would be novel to have an opal in place of a pearl.

Sapphire taught her how to use her powers to produce pictographs in the air for communication and a few fun things like making tiny fireworks. She's working with her on developing her healing abilities. Sapphire has confided in Pink about her purpose at the lab and assured her that, regardless of what happens to Nacre in the future, she will make sure Pink is safe.

Often mistaken for shy due to being mute, Pink Opal lives for pan-faced sarcasm and friendly needling. She talks shit about Lime and Coco behind their backs constantly and has started to find it amusing to hassle B.W. and Taupe. Her favorite method is making suggestive* pictographs behind B.W. where Taupe can see, because you can't have a crush in this lab without someone teasing you about it.
