has a good heart and is always willing to help those less fortunate than her, but the moment people wrong her, she tends to shun them rather quickly

Story

Mergo came to the US when she was 5 after her parents were killed in an accident. She grew up with only her grandmother who died when she was 10, landing her in an orphanage. She was teased a lot for liking things out of the social norm causing her to shrink back and hide her feelings. When she turned 18, she was set out on her own with only a couple hundred dollars to get her by. She got a job at a small restaurant as a busboy and eventually made a enough money to rent a small apartment(before she was staying at a YMCA). However when she got fired from her job, she could no longer afford her place and was kicked out. A gang found her and took her in. She stayed in the allies and only got food a couple times a week. She became really ill and was close to dying a couple times. She eventually became somewhat respected in the gang but when she fully realized that she wanted to present herself as female, she was kicked out of the gang. When she was kicked out, she was beat up and got a broken arm. Thankfully, she was found by Riot and helped her get to a hospital. He helped pay those bills, but Mergo hasn't talked to him since. After getting out of the hospital, she went to a YWCA where she met Paisley who offered to let her live with her. They fall fast and hard for each other and get married within a year. A few years later, they have twins, Maggie and Jehan. Now that their kids are grown and living on their own, Mergo and Paisley spend their days gardening and taking weekend getaways.
