Milvus is a the oldest of the Shumard kids and the most beloved by the outer family. She's a tough and skilled fighter with endless bravery and calm disposition - exactly what the Shumards like to see in their kids. They like to think of her as Cyan's one living prodigy, which is a bit rude to say in front of her brothers, and puts a lot of pressure on her, but Milvus has lived up to the title... In more ways then she'd like to admit. 

She almost had life figured out. She was saving up for a degree, working as a prison guard, and making friends with even the most unlikely coworkers - Until her group was sent out on an emergency rescue mission that quickly turned into a tragedy. 

Now Milvus has a demon hiding in her, a habit of poorly processing her grief, and a house she can't enter.
