Jasper exists within two homebrew Starfinder universes, however he serves the same purpose in both of them. He is an oread which is someone who is partially a roack elemental, he is very leaning towards the elemental part, not really inhereting many non-elemental aspects.

Backstory

Jasper came from a relatively low class family, although they could usually afford their three meals a day and rent, affording any luxury was always a struggle. Both of his parents worked multiple jobs, which made him hardly interact with them in his childhood. Not wanting to be much of a burden he left home as soon as he could. He attempted several jobs that didn't require higher education, however, he soon found they were all a slog, and barely paid enough... through some strokes of bad luck he wound up in the criminal undergroud. He began in simple colleseum style fights, where people would bet for him, and he'd get a cut of the money, he was eventually recruited by a criminal organizarion, he looked intimidating, and he was strong, that works for debt collecting. He made friends there, but outlived them, some got killed, others aged far more quickly than him. This became a cycle, where anyone he was close to he'd eventually lose, and that brought him to breaking exclussive affeliations, working mostly freelance, as a for hire arm, except he didn't use any weapons.

He eventually met Indra, an orgen trafficker who was clearly not in the bussiness because she wanted to, Jasper tried to ignore her beyond giving her the occassional tip, yet he kept getting sent to retrieve things from her, and every time they saw each other she seemed to be doing worse and worse... so one day he decided to offer to go grab a drink with her and chat. This slowly became more reccurring, and soon enough they were friends, and INdra opened up to him, expressing that the only reason she was doing the whole organ trafficking thing was due to the way her formal work place treated her, and some things that were ongoing there. Hearing the details Jasper was completely repulsed, and instead suggested for her to start a drug cartel, offering his help, and even getting some of the organizations he had worked for to agree to take her in should things fail, and eventually Indra was drunk enough to agree.

Jasper helped the roganization, Eden, take off the ground, and decided to stick around there. He hadn0t been able to form a real connection with anyone in a long time, and as much as he disliked it, Indra had become her friend, and he couldn't leave her behind, because he's a big softie. Indras optimistic view of the world and determination, despite the troubles she had experienced, as well as the attitudes of some of the other founding memebers of Eden brought back the feeling he used to have back when he first started working in crime, but after Indras untimely demise he left the organiztion, being reminded that not everything lasts, and not wanting to deal with the people responsible for taking away the little hope he had been able to find. Then he found out Indra became a devil and is practically immortal now, so he's doing a lot better motionally speaking, but that sure was a depressing time period before that!

Current Standing

Jasper is retired, and quite frankly has allotted enough of a fortune to live comfortably for the rest of his expected lifetime and more, however, he will still occassionally take freelance gigs or help out old acqueintances from his active days.
