Ivery lived a hard life when she was human. Her father was out of the picture before she was born. her mother always worked so hard to keep their family happy. After she had finished Middle school, her mother remarried. The man she married treated her and her family well. When Ivery went into high school, she worked so hard to make her mother proud and to get a good future. Everything went smoothly, until, him. He was a popular boy in her grade, most teachers and students adored him. His father was one of the most powerful people in her city. He took interest in her. He thought she was attractive. When this was brought to Ivery's attention, her friends pushed her to date him, so she did. He seemed nice enough, kind, gentle, but after almost a year of dating he changed. He began to degrade her more, to treat her like nothing. A couple months of that continued, she needed to leave hm, she had enough. He agreed, but after he showed her one thing. A date. She agreed, and they went to the company his father worked at. He told her, she could either continue the relationship or something else. She of course didn't want to continue, so he pushed her into a tar pit. She ended up suffocating. After a missing person's report was filed, no further evidence that he did it was brought up. Her mother had lost the only thing that she held the closest. Years passed. The company had been accused of using toxic waste in products ineffectively. So to cover up, they dumped it into the tar pits, south of the factory. The waste worked with the remaining parts of her body brought her back to life as a mess of tar. She began moving towards the city of criminals. Pen and Troy found her and took her in. Troy made a mask for her to be able to control her slime..
