Before  Laurie was infected she was an inspiring musician, she loved playing the piano at a young age and moved on to playing the keyboard when she was in high school. When she was 18 she was attacked by a parasite and became its host. Horrified at her appearance and her new found hunger for human flesh, she ran away from home and moved into an old abandoned manor house outside of town. One day while she was playing the old grand piano she was visited by Dr Alexander, who told her about Haven and the antidote. Afterwards, she left with him. Now living in his manor she is much happier and is now friends with many other parasites. She works on the grounds helping out any way she can and also put's on live shows for the other residents.
