Yasmin was human once, and valued her humanity greatly. When she became a vampire she was lost for quite some time, not entirely sure how to make up for the creature she had become with a need to feed on people. She eventually met others much like herself who lived a very specific lifestyle. They worked together to give back to the communities that they lived in. Yasmin began growing her own produce which she would give out for free to people nearby who might otherwise not have access to such things.
She knew it didn't absolve her of the terrible things she'd done when she first turned, but hoped that spending an eternity trying to make up for it might. Yasmin and her friends now only feed from willing participants, a group of humans who are very much interested in the culture and offer small portions of blood typically in exchange for tales or stories.
