It's not expressly forbidden to traipse around as a vampire if no one believes you're actually one. Dressing in aethetic clothing and looking a part is not really frowned on by other vampires unless you're careless or stupid about it and feed publicly. Hana is an extremely careful vampire though. She plays her role very well, only coming out at night and being 'spooky' about it with friends. She even talks about it seriously with them, explaining it's 'just for fun' and a hobby that she enjoys, but that she 'knows' she's not a real vampire, so there isn't anything to worry about. She knows the difference between 'reality' and 'stories'. They all seem to entirely buy it.
Hana typically feeds at home and only on blood bags. She doesn't like the temptation of feeding on humans, as she worries that bloodlust could turn her to harm her friends. She's very careful with her supply, and even has 'fake' blood bags for back up that contain nothing but juice, should someone worry if they happen upon them. During the day, Hana works at home from her computer. She dresses normal and looks her 'human' part so when friends drop by they see the 'vampire' as just being a persona.
