traits: Once upon a time, Coal was a very playful and happy fellow. He loved everyone and was always very kind and passionate about friends, about those he loved. Sadly, that all changed after his mate, Headache, left him... twice. The second time she took their daughter, Adira, with her (as far as he knew) and he just kinda... broke. He had developed anorexia and depression the first Headache left but the problems quickly came back after the second time, though much worse. Now, he rarely talks to anyone. He is very distant and when pushed for information about how he is doing he is now quick to snap. Though he seems nothing more than sad or, at times, emotionless, the smallest thing can set him off. He's really just an emotional wreck now.

history: Born on Wild Equines. Coal and Headache (Ashy) met when they were one and a half years old, and fell in love not long after that. Headache (Ashy) became pregnant with their first child at two years old. They started having issues because of Headache's (Ashy) secrets. She never told him the full story of her past, and that she suffers with post traumatic stress disorder. So when she's five months pregnant she leaves because she believes that it's for the best, and the only way for her to protect Coal from herself, more of she's scared of how he'll think of her if he knew about her issues. She returns when their daughter is a week old realizing that she can't take care of her child, so she goes to drop Adira (Ashy) off with Coal only to find him starving himself, wanting to sell his soul to the devil. It's then that Headache (Ashy) realizes that she wasn't protecting him from herself, she was destroying him. She decides to try and make it work, telling him the truth about what happened to her and stuff. It didn't go well, but they did decide to get back together, in the end. Thread.

From the moment she returned, Coal developed paranoia, always thinking if he did something wrong he would lose Headache (Ashy) again. And, just months later... he did. One day he woke up and she was just... gone. He tried to find her but failed. Instantly, he started going downhill again. He began to starve himself again, believing he must have been too ugly for her to love. Not only that but his daughter, Adira (Ashy), was gone as well. The two beautiful ladies that had his very heart and soul... were gone.
