Nastee is a goblin. Nastee is a captain. Nastee is a pirate. Those are three things he knows about himself.

Nastee's name is actually Magpie Jones. Nastee is wanted by the marines who killed his crew and tried to sink his ship, the Crimson Gambler. Nastee got shot in the head. Those are three things he doesn't know about himself.

Nastee doesn't know that Magpie Jones was born in a circus, bred to be infertile and raised to be a joke. His years as a clown on a tightrope dancing to the tune of cruel laughter did not breed in him remorse when the slavers who sold his parents arrived in port the same day his circus did. This was his first run in with fate, and he let the winds of coincidence carry him onto that poor ship (he would rescue her, and call her his own, paint her crimson with blood) and drove a dagger through the hearts of men with a serene smile on his face. He gathered a crew, and a reputation, quickly and without time to lose. He was terrifying, a childlike man with a primal bloodlust, a devilish pirate leading a crew of what were rumored to be cannibals. His first mate, Badger, was his worst influence, she herself a worshiper of chaos. Magpie Jones made decisions on instinct alone, and never stayed in one place or one school of thought for too long. He was truly mad, and when the marines came, he did not go down without a fight.

Magpie Jones rose from the ashes, and knew nothing. He drifted into port, stumbled into town, tried to eat a seagull raw, and was proclaimed "disgusting little thing, simply nasty." Thus, Nastee is born. Nastee knows three things about himself, and he cares not to know more.
