Leaf is a mutated humanoid sea creature who lives in a swamp. He accidentally scares the nearby villagers with his appearance and therefore tends to cover up his entire body when he dares to go to the marketplace for bread to eat with the fish he catches.
He wears whatever he can find discarded or lost on the side of the road, so his fashion is very mismatched. He doesn't mind.
he has a labyrinth organ that allows him to breathe both on land and in water. However when he's in water, he must still come up for oxygen on occasion.
He once thought he found someone who loved him, but it turned out they had tricked him and chained him up to take away to kill in the center of the village. He was able to escape and remove most of the chains, but now he has no interest in trying to befriend humans.
He cares for a mysterios demon-like girl who he believes was abandoned in his swamp. She is very quiet but he enjoys caring for her. He gave her the name 'Chirp'
