About
A Barnese rogue with an overwhelming sense of apathy, Alayna's only purpose presently is to support her younger sister Adoria. She would rather not have to analyze situations and so reacts with knives at any uncertainty. Although she was very sensitive as a child, she no longer pays attention to others to the extent that'd require. Adoria is an anchor for her; her world revolves around her role in Adoria's life and she uses that as an escape from thinking about anything else. She will run from fights she thinks she can't win unless it's necessary for Adoria. Most days she is depressed and unresponsive, but she dutifully takes care of her sister every night, cooking for her and being there for her when she has nightmares.
Alayna and her younger sister Adoria grew up in a smaller agricultural village in the countryside of Barne. Years ago, that village burned down in a sudden forest fire and they were the only survivors. The siblings headed towards slightly less poor areas and Layn took it upon herself to take care of Adoria in whatever ways necessary. Adoria, who was much better-adjusted than her sister, got a job and Layn took on odd jobs for whatever people would pay her. After Adoria got roped into Kaga's idealism, Layn joined up to keep an eye on her sister.
Her clothing trends towards combat-wear or whatever she deems practical. If it rips too fast she'll just throw it out. She wears darker colors, like blues or grays. Layn wears her prematurely gray hair in a long, straight ponytail. Her eyes are brown.

At this point Alayna has put so much focus into protecting the idea of her sister that sometimes she doesn't register Adoria the person. Usually Adoria can knock her out of that with her day-to-day mundanity, but it's hard for Layn to admit her sister's not a child anymore. That said, she's confident that her sister will reach success and is willing to shift her life to accomodate Adoria's goals.

Adoria has high-minded talks with Kaga about righting the world or whatever and Layn just watches confusedly from the sidelines. Apparently they're part of some sort of military group now? Ok?
