Locus is a spirit of anxiety and dread; some say she is these emotions incarnate. Locus paralyzes her prey with fear and bites down hard on their head. She cracks open the skull, then uses her fingers to dig the emotions out of the brain. She is intelligent enough to understand the agony of her victims, who are often still alive when she pulls out their emotions, but she is indifferent to it. She doesn't judge a lion for cutting off its prey's airway. She doesn't judge a housecat for playing with its food before killing it. She only judges excessive killing, because it leaves less for her.

Slendyfox is one of the only beings immune to her fear. He is the only creature she feels affection for. Calling it love might be too much, but she does care for him, and he her. They spend many nights together and enjoy sharing their hunting techniques. They work well together, since Slendy wants the body and she only wants their emotions. She derives less nutrition from a kill if she isn't involved in it, but as long as the prey was frightened before death, it will be of some use.
