About

Seraphine Fiametta is a girl tortured by her own life, nothing she ever does is good enough for those around her. She's constantly abused and belittled by her father, several of the burns on her body coming from him. She is never enough, she's neither pretty or smart, she can't do anything right, and she is constantly reminded that she will never be as good as her younger sister Hestia.

Despite being burned several times by her father she continues to obsess over fire and does anything she can to hold it and feel it because it allows to her to feel something other than the pain caused by her own family. As a result of the long-term abuse she gets from her father, she has isolated herself from damn-near everyone, only allowing Match come near her. The 'friendship' isn't the healthiest but it works. But it has only gone down hill from there, everything around her is falling apart and it had started because her only friend, Matchuko, had died. Ember felt nothing but the soul-crushing guilt of knowing that Match had died and she did nothing to stop it. She didn't know whether or not she could have done anything but the least she could have done was tried. But she didn't. Shortly after she'd begun hearing Match's voice everywhere, she thought for sure it was her guilt forcing her to hear her dead friend but it wasn't, it was her. She was back and she had no idea why or even how she had died but Ember was too ashamed to tell her how she died and that she couldn't stop her death. Even if it meant Match never being able to rest in peace, she would never speak a word of it.
