His father comes from the big wealthy family of Eeveeloutions called Hidetora's that not only got a long history in Ecruteak City but were also rumored to have powerful magic run in their family blood. The head of the family is run by a Matriarch, the family believes that since girls are less born than boys in the Eeveelution family but those who are born are usually born with much more magical abilities than the boys and was therefore more fit to run the family. When the Matriarch fails to birth a girl she can adopt a relative's daughter to continue the family tradition but the rule is that it has to be a child within the Eeveelution line and not outside and carry the family blood.

His father who was the eldest son of the current matriarch was suggested to be next in line to lead the family since his mother the Matriarch and all other women in the family had failed to birth a daughter. They were also too stubborn to adopt an Eevee girl from outside the family to continue the matriarch tradition. He would have to marry an Eeveelution woman from outside the family and if they manage to produce a girl Eevee then that child will be the one to take over from him the day he steps down.

However as it turned out his Grandfather had a secret child with a mistress who also happened to be born a girl and since Eve's Grandparents are cousins this child of his have the precious Hidetora blood running in her veins. Now a full grown adult with a daughter of her own and therefore she was by the family rules to be the next in line to become the head if the Matriarch were to adopt this woman. Of course she did and obviously this outraged Eve's father that some illegitimate sibling had the gall to take what should have been "his".

He had started to make plans to try to have not only this new half sister of his killed but also her daughter killed too. Somehow his plans got leaked (even to this day he does not know by who) and when his mother got those news she quickly had him kicked out of the house, disinherited and his family name ripped from him. Cutting all ties with him and his mother who had married his father only a year before the incident.

Even before Eve’s birth 11 years after his parents got kicked out they lived a poor and hard life. His father couldn't keep a job for more than a year and slowly turned into an alcoholic. His mother (who he still can't understand why she stayed for so many years with his waste of life called a father before he was born) who worked hard as a waitress for a bar and grill. When Eve was just 2 years old, his mom had finally had enough of this life that she packed her bags and left. He never heard from her since.

School life was rough, he legit tried his best to learn but when given no help from his teachers or father when he really needed it, Eve started to skip school ‘cause what’s the point in being there when no one wants to help teach him and keeps on failing every test because of it. He had to learn to take care of himself when his father stopped caring and was therefore forced to grow up faster. Started smoking when he was just 11 with some of the older 'cooler' kids and not long after got a taste for alcohol though luckily he never got hooked on the latter. His life would have kept spiraling down if he hadn't tried to steal this one Ninetales ladies wallet. Julie was her name.

He then joined the same team she was temporarily part of despite technically being too young to participate but it seems like no one seems to bother double checking your actual age if you lie about it. Julie sort of became this weird older sister figure in his life while they both were part of this odd team. The team itself, called Calm Breeze were more or less just the main trio of childhood friends and the other half being a bunch of pickups that’s him, Julie and her Venomoth friend Sally.

Once they went to the league and won he later started to do some small work for Julie. It could be errands like delivering stuff for her or collecting information out on the streets. His first, real honest job. Despite their arguments with each other, he has grown to care for this woman who tries to help him get a better future. Even if he refuses to admit it himself. Now however he has got a new life in Unova after encountering the Mafia Boss Mr. Heartman and become the adopted son of Anthony Petrillo.

Now he is no longer Evergreen Haji Hidetora Collazo, now he's Evergreen Haji Petrillo.

• Smells like cigarette smoke most of the time and sometimes like rotten food but not that often.
• The music he likes to listen to is mixed but Techno, Glitch hop and Electro Swing are the ones he listen to mostly.
• Got a weakness for sweets, mostly the marshmallow types. Especially weak for the soft marshmallow fluffs dipped in chocolate.
• He's a veteran dumpster diver who knows the best places to get some perfectly good food for free. Not even the locked ones can stop him.
