Dr. Adin Rowena - Human - Chief Medical Officer
Pale peach flesh with long wavy pale blond hair, kept pulled up in a braided bun during missions and down but pulled back from her face in the medbay. Late twenties. Curvy and on the borderline of maybe too soft for the military. Scar on the corner of her mouth.
Adin grew up in two phases of very different worlds, a duality that has informed her opinions of the world and her attitudes in general. She started life the single child of two human parents living on a rather poor spacer colony, her family slipped through the cracks of society. They lived hand to mouth until Adin was seven, by which time she had seen a great deal of suffering be it from starvation, raiders or just a general lack of affordable medical care. When she turned seven, a good dead in the markets changed their fortunes as her dad was granted a job by a Asarian trader. They went from never having enough to having an abundance as the work was lucrative and her father turned out to very skilled on parting customers from their credits through capitalism. Her childhood had left a lasting mark on her psyche and when she was old enough she enlisted in medical school at the Citadel and graduated with top marks. She used her skills running free clinics during her off hours at military postings in impoverish areas before finally word of the Initiative made its way to her inbox. She could not deny the call of adventure nor ideas of making a difference in new Andromeda colonies so enlisted to the Ark Hyperion. Circumstance and her interpersonal skills landed her a position about the Sholaon.(edited)
Kind-hearted but a bit self-indulgent. She likes comfort will give into her finer tastes even when she shouldn't. She will never turn down food because a part of her subconsciously doesn't trust the next meal to come, but is quick to share whatever she has with anyone. She will not stand for anyone going hungry around her. Though kind she can be quick to temper and draws her own conclusions at times. If she is wrong she will be quick to apologise and is good at accepting the blame when it is hers. She is a blushing wry smile with a surprising dark sense of humor at times. A good soft girl who will strong arm you into the medbay is she has to.
