Yamir has the uncanny ability to mimic the properties and attributes of animals and monsters he is able to thoroughly observe and document. So long as he can obtain a complete understanding of the specimen in question, Yamir can morph pieces of his body to obtain similar or exact manifestations of the desired specimen. From the nose of a bloodhound to the pyrokinetic organs of a kite drake, these elements can be mixed and matched so long as the complexity does not exceed Yamir’s magical stamina. Should he fail to maintain consciousness or drain his aether reserves, these mimicked attributes will become weak and shatter. Despite their physical similarities, Yamir’s mimicry is still based in magic which allow for him to return to his original form and swap from piece to piece. Yamir has not discovered a limit to how many different animal or monster pieces he can learn, just how many he can manage before he runs out of energy. A simple pair of claws will not have the same strain as a functioning pair of owl wings or the strength required to use them. More dangerously, Yamir can choose to hybridize certain attributes such as a monkey tail tipped with the bioluminescent bulb of an angler fish. However, certain elements if hybridized could conflict and cause detrimental effects if Yamir is unable to stabilize their relationship.
