Sadie was Zillah's first adoptee. She was 12 when he met her, over 7 years before the beginning of his relationship with Alec. She was an orphan, barely surviving on a rural asteroid belt. He took her in to his apartment on the promise that she stop fighting and gambling against men twice her size. Sadie agreed, although not without a bit of hesitation. 

She refuses to tell anyone her previous name, and instead goes by Sadie Arkady, a name she chose because of the rhyme. Zillah probably knew her previous name at some point, but he doesn't care enough to have bothered to remember it. Sadie is what she goes by now, so Sadie is her name.  

When the repo dogs started coming after Zillah, Sadie went out of her way to make sure that none of them would find her brother. He protected her, and she protected him too. She makes sure to protect him with all her might, often doing deals with both Crash and Atlana to make sure that he is living his best life. She's fiercely protective, caring about almost no one else in the world. 

She actually does attend the university on the space station, she's in training to become one of the best medical practitioners that anyone has seen for a while. It seems she has a natural talent for fixing people (or maybe it's the massive amount of practice she's gotten from stitching up her own and her brother's wounds).

Sadie is a bubbly girl, happy and full of life. When she walks into the room, it's incredibly obvious that the life of the party has strolled in. She barely notices how people's faces light up as she walks into rooms, but she's definitely aware of the darkness that follows as she leaves the room. 

It's her grin that keeps Zillah going on his worst days, her happy voice at the other end of the phone line stops him from going insane when Alec is at his worst. He is her sole supporter, but she is his everything. He adores her, even if he goes out of his way to call her a dumbass.

She enjoys his company, often going out of her way to look after him when she can. She gives him the kind of soda that he likes, the weird one with the orange bits, but he still hasn't opened up beyond the basic things that Zillah told her when they first met. 

Crash . 19 . Crash is cool, like, really cool, and Sadie has a little bit of a crush on them. They're also a good person to talk to when Sadie needs some extra protections put on Zillah, when Alec isn't enough. Their connections make things a lot more fun. 

Atlana . 59 . The Priestess is a battleaxe of a woman and everything that Sadie would like to be; she frequently goes out of her way to get her fortune read so she can spend some time relaxing with her brother's best friend. There's nothing that Sadie doesn't gossip about with Atlana, meaning that she's always up to date on the latest backstreet gossip.
