Eclipse is a bit of a mystery - they just sort of appeared out of nowhere and immediately began travelling around the world searching for adventure. There's no point in asking them where they came from, either - they'll just say they're from outer space. They're very child-like and appear to be extremely fascinated (and distracted) by anything that catches their eye. They have little interest for money or treasures, though - what they value most is their weapons. Eclipse has a large arsenal of melee weapons that they use to rid the world of evil and monsters. But their skittish personality and natural instincts sometimes causes them to attack innocent creatures that mean no harm. Nonetheless, they always keep a positive and happy-go-lucky attitude that is impossible to break, but it seems like a solar eclipse flicks some sort of switch in them that turns them into something else, something much more sinister...
✦ Appearance ✦
Eclipse appears as a humanoid being with a somewhat skinny figure. They wear a blue hood with gold lining that always covers their face, leaving their face dark and concealed in shadow, only revealing 2 glowing, pupil-less yellow eyes. Attached to the hood from the back is a piece of blue cloth that acts a bit like a scarf or bandanna, freely draped over their upper torso. Eclipse wears a dark blue tunic over their body with a piece of blue cloth, lined with gold, attached to the gold strip surrounding the tunic at the torso. The blue cloth extends outward and downward and covers the lower half of Eclipse's torso a bit like a skirt or loincloth, but with a large gap in the middle of it. Eclipse wears night black greaves that are lined with gold cloth on the inside, which is visible through the gap between the upper and lower parts of the greaves, on the knees - this is to let the knees bend without obstruction.
Eclipse's arms and wings are made of ectoplasm (Eclipse calls it "ghost material"). Both are mostly light blue with white, cloud-like texture over them, and both glow white/light blue in the dark. The wings appear like bird or angel wings and protrude through holes in the back of the tunic. Eclipse's arms default as thick and oblong with no fingers, but Eclipse can somewhat shapeshift his hands, forming fingers or claws from them. Eclipse's wings appear to maintain their structure as if they have bones in them (even though they actually don't), but their arms are able to bend and stretch freely, not constrained by any sort of bones or inner structure.
"Nah, I wouldn't steal weapons. I already have, like, 10 of them. But you can never have enough dice!"

Eclipse can use their wings to fly and glide.
Eclipse can somewhat shapeshift their arms to form to fingers or claws. There are limits to this ability though - Eclipse can't shift their hands into anything that doesn't resemble a hand.

- Eclipse is ambidextrous, but they don't know how to write or read.
- Their favourite colour is dark blue and their least favourite colour is blood red.
- Eclipse doesn't need to eat, but they like to eat berries. It doesn't matter what kind, even poisonous ones; the poison doesn't seem to affect them.
- According to Eclipse, most of their weapons were either made by them or given to them by their dad.
- They hiss and/or fly away when annoyed.
- Solar eclipses turn Eclipse violent and chaotic, but lunar eclipses and blood moons put Eclipse into a deep sleep. Attempting to wake them at this time will cause them to react viciously. They don't remember anything that happens during these events and are completely oblivious to this fact, always complaining that "[they] missed the eclipse again".
- Eclipse has a strange affinity to dice, and will steal any dice they lay their eyes on. Their collection contains over 100 dice of different shapes and colours. They especially like icosahedron (20-sided) dice.
- Eclipse is the master of staring contests. They can even stare at the sun and not go blind.
- Eclipse has congenital anosmia - they were born without the sense of smell. Their sense of taste is somewhat reduced too.
- Eclipse likes retro, 8-bit games, but hates 8-bit music as it hurts their ears.
- Eclipse hates icecream and other cold food as they say it hurts their teeth.
✦ Drawing Tips ✦
- Eclipse always has their hood on! Nobody knows what their face looks like under the hood. It always appears dark and covered in shadow, and there is no visible mouth.
- Eclipses eyes glow yellow and their wings and arms glow white/light blue in the dark.
- Eclipse's arms have no bones in them, so they can bend them around with no problem. Their hands can either be simple nubs with no fingers or human-like hands with fingers or claws.
- Feel free to draw them with any of the weapons listed in the "Powers and Abilities" segment.
