* From a modern fantasy setting where the world is slowly becoming undone by Eldritch creations and people losing their ability to use their magic.

• Born as the only child to a couple of dragons. Her mother's health deteriorated due to a postpartum depression and with the family's continuously growing heap of problems, it was decided that'd it be best for Aran to live elsewhere
• Adopted at an early age. Grew up with a foster family up until the age of 18
• Nowadays works as a bodyguard for an esteemed witch and her younger sister
• In her human form Aran appears tall and rather androgynous with her broad-ish shoulders and narrow, yet not gaunt face. She sports fiery red hair and a pair of heterochromatic eyes (sectoral heterochromia in the left iris).
• Can shapeshift between her human and beast form at will. As a dragon she's almost bull-like in appearance, menacing and heavy in built, adorned with not only sharp horns, but scales that cover most of her body too. A black gemstone is studded right in the middle of her forehead that's only visible in her more beast-like from.  Aran has small, wyvern-like wings attached to her forelimbs, but their withered form as well as her build render her completely flightless.

Personality
- Serious and hardworking by default
- Perpetually feels like an outsider in her own life, but usually pushes the said feeling to the side
- Enjoys organizing things and having a strict routine, despite it often leaving her drained and at times just plain miserable
- Finds joy in mundane signs of affection and being around people.

Other
- Owns a pet snake, Silver (ball python - solid light gray / pastel super cinnamon morph)
- Can use her death magic to cast harmful spells, bend the minds and wills others, as well as drain the life energy of other living beings at the cost of her own health. In the setting death magic is a rare form of the more common dark magic, that allows the user to blend in with their surroundings.
